The Electrical group at Hatch consists of engineers, designers, and technologists with global experience in the design, construction, and commissioning of major facilities. As part of this team, you’ll be involved in projects of varying size and complexity while honing your problem-solving and technical expertise.

What You’ll Do

As a Graduate Electrical Engineer at Hatch, you will:

• Work on projects in Mining & Metals, Energy, Digital, or Infrastructure sectors.

• Receive formal and informal mentorship from industry leaders.

• Gain hands-on project experience in South Africa and internationally.

• Collaborate with diverse teams across multiple cultures in a global environment.

Minimum Requirements For The Hatch 2025 Electrical Engineering Intern

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Be a South African Citizen.

• Be in your final year of study towards a BSc or BEng in Electrical Engineering, or already hold a completed qualification from a recognized institution.

• Have 12 months or less working experience.

• Achieve a minimum average of 65% in your academic results.

• Attach a copy of your most recent full academic transcript.

• Be flexible and willing to work in any province within South Africa.
