Our Electrical and Mechanical Learnership Programme 2025 is the perfect opportunity for motivated individuals to gain practical work experience, theoretical training, and industry-recognized certification in engineering trades.
This 12-month structured learnership offers hands-on training in either electrical engineering or mechanical engineering, helping you gain the skills, tools, and experience needed to secure employment or further your career in South Africa’s growing industrial and technical sectors.
 Minimum Requirements (Eligibility Criteria)
To be considered for this learnership opportunity, you must meet the following minimum entry requirements:

Grade 12 / Matric Certificate with relevant technical subjects (Maths and Physical Science recommended)

OR N2, N3, N4, N5, or N6 Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

OR NCV Level 4 Qualification in Engineering and Related Design

Must be a South African citizen, aged between 18–35 years
-
Strong interest in pursuing a career in engineering, maintenance, or industrial trades
-
Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols in a technical training environment

Participate in theoretical training aligned with SETA-accredited NQF modules

Undergo practical training under the supervision of qualified artisans and engineers

Support technical teams in equipment maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs

Apply basic knowledge of tools, measurements, and safety regulations
-
Work in a real-world environment to gain job-ready skills and trade knowledge

Complete all assessments and evaluations as part of the learnership curriculum
