LH Marthinusen, a division of ACTOM (Pty) Ltd, is offering an exciting opportunity for young individuals to join our 4-Year Apprenticeship Programme. Successful candidates will receive a Limited Duration Contract with the possibility of permanent employment.
The programme is aligned with MerSETA trade requirements and includes preparation for a recognised trade test qualification.

N2 OR NCV Level 4 with four completed subjects in the relevant trade

 Key Responsibilities
As an Apprentice, you will gain skills and practical exposure in:

Safe use of basic hand tools
-
First Aid and workplace safety practices
-
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) awareness
-
Understanding and applying SHERQ regulations (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)

Accurate work and adherence to technical job specifications

Effective communication and time management
-
Completion of logbooks for training modules
-
Rotations through assigned departments
-
Supporting production functions under supervision
 Working Conditions
-
Training will be conducted in both a factory/workshop environment and Eskom Power Stations in the Mpumalanga / Volksrust region.

The bulk of mechanical positions are linked to a 4-year Eskom contract.

Preference will be given to applicants from:
Volksrust, Amersfoort, Witbank, Middelburg, Lephalale, and Delmas. -
Practical training will primarily take place at the Johannesburg factory workshop as well as relevant Eskom Power Stations.
