 Position Summary

We are looking for a qualified artisan with an Electrical Trade Test Certificate to take full responsibility for electrical operations throughout our factory. This includes overseeing all electrical systems during production periods and conducting planned maintenance across multiple plants or lines.

The successful candidate will provide technical electrical support to the production team and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and operational standards.

 Minimum Requirements For The Nestlé Technical Assistant Electrical 

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

• Electrical Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal)

• N6 Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a technical college or
  National Diploma from a Technikon

• Registration with the Department of Labour as an Installation Electrician / Wireman’s License

• At least 3 years of experience in an electrical role within a manufacturing or FMCG environment

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Electrical Foreman / Supervisor / Overseer

• Electrical Foreman Certificate (advantageous)

• Master Installation Electrician registration (advantageous)

• Proficiency in MS Office applications

• Experience with SAP, AMM, Kronos (advantageous)

 Key Responsibilities

• Full electrical responsibility in the factory, ensuring safe and continuous operations

• Lead electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and planned maintenance on production lines

• Support production teams with electrical expertise and quick response to faults

• Ensure all installations and repairs comply with legal and company standards

• Monitor and optimize electrical performance to minimize downtime

• Maintain technical documentation, safety standards, and equipment logs

• Red Seal Trade Certificate as an Electrician

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, fault diagnosis, and preventative maintenance

• Demonstrated leadership and coordination experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setup
