Are you a young, unemployed South African passionate about customer service and looking to start a career in the financial and insurance industry? OUTsurance Insurance Company Ltd invites applications for a 12-month Call Centre Learnership Programme in partnership with INSETA. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical work experience, develop key professional skills, and grow within a structured training environment.


What is the Learnership About?

This structured, work-based learning programme is designed to provide unemployed youth with real workplace experience in the call centre sector. Participants will enter into a fixed-term 12-month Learnership Agreement (not an employment contract) and receive a monthly stipend for the duration of the programme.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to kick-start their careers in the Financial and Insurance industries while gaining hands-on exposure and nationally recognised training.


Key Competencies Required

Successful candidates should demonstrate:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to engage professionally and take initiative

  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

  • High level of self-motivation and eagerness to learn

  • Capacity to multi-task and handle pressure effectively

  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office experience is beneficial)


Minimum Requirements For The OUTsurance Learnership opportunities

  • Valid Matric (Grade 12) certificate

  • A completed post-matric qualification is advantageous but not mandatory

  • South African citizen aged 18 to 35

  • Must be unemployed for the past 6 months

  • Must not have participated in a Learnership programme previously

  • Computer literate (basic MS Office skills)
