We are offering a 3–4 year Fitter & Turner Apprenticeship Programme designed to train and develop aspiring artisans into qualified tradesmen. This programme, aligned with company and SETA requirements, combines structured learning with hands-on workplace experience to prepare candidates for a career as a Fitter & Turner Artisan.
Key Responsibilities

Complete the 3–4 year apprenticeship in line with SETA requirements.

Assist with plant and equipment maintenance, repairs, and optimisation.

Follow strict safety, health, and environmental procedures.

Gain technical competence in industrial machinery and process systems.

Support planning, budgeting, and preparation of technical jobs.

Evaluate and repair breakdowns while developing problem-solving skills.
Minimum Requirements For The SAB Apprentice Fitter & Turner x4

Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics & Physical Science.

N4 Technical Certificate in Fitting & Turning (essential).

Higher qualification (N5/N6) will be advantageous.

Engineering aptitude and strong interest in technical training.

Physically fit, good vision, and not colour blind.

Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and attend training in Johannesburg.
