Are you an experienced worker without formal artisan qualifications? The SAB Technical Training Centre in Rosslyn is offering a unique opportunity to fast-track your path to becoming a qualified artisan through the Artisan Recognition of Prior Learning (ARPL) Programme.
This programme is governed by QCTO, NAMB, and DHET and is designed for individuals who have relevant work experience but need formal training and assessment to complete their trade test qualification.

Minimum Entry Requirements For The SAB ARPL Programme 2025 Intake
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

N2 Certificate (with relevant trade theory subjects) and 3 years relevant work experience

NQF Level 3 Technical trade theory (SETA-accredited) and 3 years work experience

Engineering NCV Level 3 and 3 years experience
-
Engineering NCV Level 4, completion of work modules, and 18 months experience

Technical Grade 12 (Maths, Science, trade subjects) and 3 years experience

Grade 9 and 4 years relevant work experience
-
Relevant N6 Certificate or National Technical Diploma (T, S, or N stream) and 18 months experience
