Successful applicants will be placed in one of the following trades:

• Electrician
• Boilermaker

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

The Samancor Engineering Learnership Programme combines structured learning with real workplace exposure. Learners will receive:

Electrical and Automation (Electrician / Instrumentation)

• Electrical installations and fault finding
• Control systems and instrumentation
• Maintenance of plant electrical systems

Fabrication (Boilermaker)

• Welding and metal fabrication

Automotive Systems (Auto Electrician)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS For Samancor 2026 Engineering Learnerships Now Open

To qualify, applicants must:

• Be a South African citizen
• Be currently unemployed
• Have Grade 12 (Matric)

AND

• Hold an N2 qualification with relevant Trade Theory
  (or higher qualification in a related engineering field)
