This Artisan Bridge Programme offers a 12-month hands-on development opportunity, providing product-specific training on Sandvik mining equipment as well as real on-the-job exposure in the rebuilding and maintenance of mining machinery.
This programme is designed to make you highly competitive and industry-ready for a successful career in the mining sector.
Key Responsibilities For The Sandvik Mining X10 Artisan Learnerships

Adhere to all conditions outlined in the relevant employment agreement or award

Execute tasks and duties as instructed by supervisors

Maintain professional, respectful, and safety-conscious conduct at all times

Comply with all lawful instructions and site procedures

Work diligently toward achieving all competencies in the training plan

Participate fully in all training and assessments as required

Maintain and keep your training record updated and available when requested
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics and Physical Science or equivalent

Minimum N2 in Engineering Studies (Compulsory)

Qualified Millwright (Preferred)

Qualified Electricians will be considered

Section 13 or Section 26D Trade Certificate with POE / Proof of Modules / Apprenticeship (Compulsory)

Medically and physically fit to work in a mining environment

Must be able to meet client vaccination requirements — vaccination certificate must be attached
