About the Learnership Programme

Sanlam Corporate is offering a unique opportunity for young, energetic South African citizens to gain practical work experience while studying towards a nationally recognized Certificate in Wealth Management (NQF Level 4). This 12-month learnership combines structured academic learning with hands-on experience in the financial services industry.

This learnership forms part of our Youth Empowerment Programme (YEP) and is designed to build a pipeline of future talent. Successful learners may be considered for permanent roles after completing the programme.

Key Responsibilities For The Sanlam 2026 Learnership Programme

  • Acquire and apply knowledge of company products, systems, and operations

  • Attend structured classroom-based lessons

  • Complete workplace-based training and assessments

  • Maintain a Portfolio of Evidence and submit to INSETA

  • Fill in required logbooks for practical learning

  • Carry out all responsibilities and learning tasks as agreed with your manager


Minimum Requirements

  • South African citizen

  • Between the ages of 18 – 35

  • Unemployed and not enrolled in any other studies

  • Must have Grade 12 with:

    • Mathematics, Mathematical Literacy, or Accounting (50%+)

    • English (50%+)

  • No post-matric qualification

  • Fluent in English (read, write, and speak)

  • Willing to commit to the full 12-month programme

  • Clear criminal and credit record

  • Access to reliable transport
