Santam Learnership Programme 2025

Applicants are invited to apply for the Santam Learnership Programme 2025

This is a 12-month NQF Level 4 accredited training programme designed to build future talent in short-term insurance. Successful applicants will gain both theoretical knowledge and practical work experience, along with the opportunity to write the FSCA Regulatory Exam (RE5) and work toward professional membership with the Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA).

 Who Can Apply For The Santam Learnership Programme 2025

You are eligible if you meet the following criteria:

• South African Citizen aged between 18 and 28 years

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate with:

  • Minimum 50% pass in English and a second language

  • Minimum 40% in Mathematics or 60% in Mathematical Literacy

• Unemployed

• Not currently studying or enrolled at any tertiary institution

• Have no post-matric qualification (Diploma, Degree, etc.)

• Have less than 1 year of work experience

• Have not previously completed a Short-Term Insurance Learnership through INSETA

• Persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply (must provide a medical certificate)

 Who Should Not Apply?

• Applicants with any post-matric qualification

• Applicants who are currently studying

• Anyone with over 1 year of formal work experience

• Applicants who have already completed a Short-Term Insurance Learnership
