Purpose of the Job

To operate and maintain basic electrical equipment and machinery, performing routine tasks and following strict, detailed instructions to achieve performance targets and ensure operational efficiency.

Key Accountabilities For The Sasol Artisan Electrician Job Opportunity 

• Participate in shift handover meetings to ensure smooth operational transitions.

• Provide clear and timely feedback to supervisors on job progress.

• Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) sessions and contribute valuable insights to RCA teams.

• Participate in risk assessments as per company and legal requirements to maintain workplace safety.

• Maintain good housekeeping practices and follow correct waste disposal procedures.

• Work independently to meet job requirements.

• Understand and align with the business’s key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives.

• Apply and maintain safety protocols in all work environments.

Formal Education & Qualifications

• Matric / N3 with Mathematics, English, and Physical Science.

• Occupational Trade Certificate – Electrical (Red Seal).

Working Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in electrical operations and machine maintenance.

Licenses

• Valid Driver’s License.
