We are seeking a skilled and qualified Electrical Technician (Red Seal Electrician) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards and performance targets.
 Purpose of the Job
To operate and maintain basic and advanced electrical machines, carry out routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshoot technical issues while following strict safety procedures and company guidelines.
 Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain electrical equipment and systems according to set standards.

Participate in shift handover meetings and provide accurate feedback on progress.

Report work updates to supervisors and participate in root cause analysis (RCA) investigations.

Conduct and participate in risk assessments in line with company and legislative requirements.

Maintain good housekeeping and follow waste management procedures.

Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards.

Work independently to meet performance and production targets.
 Minimum Requirements For The Sasol Artisan Gr 2 Electrician
Education
-
Matric / N3 with Mathematics, English, and Physical Science.

Recognised Occupational Trade Qualification (Electrical Red Seal).
Experience
-
Minimum 3+ years’ relevant experience as an Electrical Technician / Electrician.
Licenses
-
Valid Driver’s License.
