Rola Toyota Bredasdorp is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Automotive Apprentice (Learner Technician) to join our workshop team. This is a valuable opportunity to be trained and developed into a fully qualified Red Seal–accredited Automotive Technician, gaining hands-on experience with expert guidance in the motor industry.

Minimum Requirements For The Toyota 2026 Apprentice Program 

• Grade 12 / Matric, with Mathematics and Science as subjects (essential).

• Automotive-related subjects or experience will be a strong advantage.

• Young, vibrant, and eager to learn in a fast-paced workshop environment.

• Strong technical aptitude and genuine enthusiasm for motor vehicles.

• Good timekeeping skills with the ability to work under pressure.

• Clear verbal communication skills (most training will be in English).

• Must reside in Bredasdorp or surrounding areas.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist a qualified automotive technician with servicing, repairs, and maintenance of vehicles while developing the skills required to qualify as a Red Seal–accredited Technician.

• Learn to accurately clock job times for all assigned work.

• Ensure full understanding of Repair Order Instructions before starting any work.

• Learn how to plan repair jobs, identify necessary parts, and assist with ordering processes.

• Attend and actively participate in all prescribed training sessions (both practical and theoretical).

• Follow workshop safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
