Position Purpose
An apprenticeship is a structured work-based learning programme completed under the supervision and guidance of a qualified Artisan within an employer environment. Apprentices also attend formal instruction sessions at an accredited training facility to gain theoretical knowledge aligned with the national Technical Certificate courses.
Key Outputs / Responsibilities
The apprenticeship is designed to equip learners with the ability to:

Plan and prepare the work site, equipment, tools, consumables, and materials for trade-related activities.

Use hand, power, and measuring tools safely and effectively.

Install, assemble, fit, and connect equipment and control systems.

Test, inspect, and commission equipment, installations, and assemblies.

Maintain, modify, and repair systems, machinery, and related components.
