Position Purpose
An apprenticeship is a structured work-based learning programme under the supervision and guidance of a qualified Artisan within the workplace. In addition, apprentices attend formal instruction sessions at an accredited training facility to gain theoretical knowledge aligned with the national Technical Certificate courses.
Key Outputs / Responsibilities
The apprenticeship aims to develop the ability to:

Plan and prepare the work site, equipment, tools, consumables, and materials for trade-related activities.

Use hand, power, and measuring tools safely and effectively.

Install, assemble, fit, and connect electrical equipment and control systems.

Test, inspect, and commission electrical equipment, installations, and assemblies.

Maintain, modify, and repair electrical systems and related components.
