Throughout the apprenticeship, you will receive both theoretical training and practical on-the-job exposure, including:

Planning and preparing the work site, tools, materials, and safety equipment

Using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment and precision measuring instruments

Manufacturing, assembling and fabricating metal structures and components
-
Installing and connecting mechanical and electrical control systems
-
Inspecting, testing, fault-finding and repairing systems to ensure safe operation

Performing maintenance and upgrades on industrial equipment and infrastructure
Minimum Qualification Requirements (One of the following is required):
N2 / N3–N6 with Pure Mathematics, Engineering Science and relevant technical subjects
NCV Level 4 with Engineering Process, Professional Engineering Practice or Welding
Technical Grade 12 with Mathematics, Mechanical Technology (welding/metal work), and Engineering Graphics & Design
