• Learnership: Electrician (x1)

• Learnership: Boilermaker Plater (x2)
  

What the Programme Offers

Our structured Artisan Learnership Programme combines both off-the-job and workplace training, giving you the hands-on experience and technical skills required in your chosen trade.

Successful completion of this programme will lead to a nationally recognised Artisan qualification.

Minimum Requirements For The Valterra Platinum 2026 Learnerships

To qualify, applicants must meet the following entry criteria:

• Matric with:

  • Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy) – minimum 40%

  • Physical Science – minimum 40%

  • English – minimum 40%
    OR

• N2 certificate or higher with subjects relevant to your discipline:

  • Boilermaker Plater: Plating & Structural Steelwork/Welders Theory and Plating Structural & Steelwork Drawings

  • Electrical: Electrical Trade Theory / Electrotechnology / Electrotechnics and Industrial Electronics, or Engineering Drawings
    OR

• NCV Level 4 in the relevant trade with all subjects passed (minimum 40%)

Required Documents

Applications must include:

• A detailed CV

• Certified copies of relevant qualifications

• A copy of your South African ID

• Proof of residence (with an official stamp from the tribal office or municipality) — required for candidates from host communities
