Weir is seeking motivated individuals to join our Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) program in Africa. The purpose of this role is to improve workplace safety standards and develop a sustainable pipeline of skilled safety professionals as part of the Weir Skills Development Strategy.

Key Responsibilities For The Weir Minerals 2025 Learnership ProgramÂ

Participate in on-the-job training to enhance and maintain the Africa SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) Management System.

Perform administrative duties, including document control and updates in line with ISO and Weir Group standards.

Coordinate and maintain SHE electronic management systems, ensuring accurate documentation and data input.

Demonstrate a 100% commitment to zero-harm behaviors, contributing to the development of a world-class safety culture.
Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum: Grade 12 or equivalent with mathematical literacy.

Basic computer literacy is required.

A strong interest in occupational health and safety and safety management systems is highly desirable.
