Electrical Technician Job Description – Electrical Maintenance and Process Support
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential electrical and technical support to production teams, helping to maintain equipment efficiency and achieve safety, quality, and productivity targets.
Key Responsibilities for Kimberly Clark Electrical Artisan Position
Safety and Compliance
Ensure compliance with all plant safety procedures, safety rules, and regulations.
Address safety non-conformances immediately and escalate unresolved issues to the Asset Leader.
Follow correct Work Safe Work Procedures (WSWP) and process instructions for all tasks.
Promote continuous process optimization to enhance safety measures.
Production and Productivity Support
Provide expert electrical technical support to production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
Execute action plans to resolve electrical issues and reduce production delays.
Assist with equipment changeovers to minimize downtime.
Develop and implement continuous improvement plans to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
Maintain accurate documentation, including PLC programming data, drive configurations, and electrical schematics.
Electrical Maintenance and Equipment Reliability
Support scheduled and reactive maintenance activities for electrical systems and equipment.
Ensure the availability and proper management of electrical spare parts.
Assist in standardizing maintenance procedures and recommend improvements to maintenance policies.
Provide technical support in fault-finding, problem-solving, and root cause analysis.
Recommend spare part requirements to the Electrical Engineer for inventory management.
Document and communicate technical details for planned and reactive maintenance requests.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of PLC systems, drives, and electrical schematics.
Experience in root cause analysis and troubleshooting electrical issues.
Familiarity with continuous improvement processes such as Lean or Six Sigma.
Strong adherence to safety standards and best practices.
