We are assisting our client in offering an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to join their Toolmaker Apprenticeship Programme. This structured training programme is designed for individuals passionate about engineering, CNC machining, and precision manufacturing. Apprentices will receive hands-on training in tool and die making, mould manufacturing, and CAD/CAM programming using Autodesk Fusion and SCam.

Key Responsibilities for the Level Up 2025 Apprenticeship Program
As a Toolmaker Apprentice, you will:
Assist in the manufacturing, maintenance, and repair of injection moulds, blow moulds, dies, jigs, and tooling.
Operate and learn CNC programming for milling machines, lathes, grinding, and EDM machines.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files.
Support senior toolmakers in fitting, assembling, and testing tools to meet high-precision tolerances.
Gain knowledge of different machining processes, materials, and quality control standards.
Participate in both classroom-based and practical training as part of the apprenticeship programme.
Follow strict health and safety guidelines in the workplace to maintain a safe working environment.
Minimum Requirements:
To be eligible for this Toolmaker Apprenticeship, candidates must have:
Matric / Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science OR N3 Engineering Studies.
A strong passion for engineering, machining, and precision manufacturing.
Excellent mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to learn, develop technical skills, and complete a trade test at the end of the programme.
Must be a South African citizen with a valid ID.
