Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality maintenance services for elevators and escalators at customer sites.

Maintain strong customer satisfaction through clear, proactive, and regular on-site communication.

Conduct real-time, accurate reporting of work performed via mobile tools or systems.

Maintain and enhance relationships with customers, site contact persons, and end-users.

Ensure that the site environment is safe and all work complies with health and safety regulations.

Identify site risks or potential hazards and communicate findings promptly.

Perform necessary unplanned service repairs and obtain approvals when outside contract scope.

Manage and maintain PAR stock levels, inventory, and initiate timely replenishment.

Submit timesheets and service documentation as per company procedures.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
Candidates must meet one or more of the following:

Red Seal Trade Test Certificate as a Lift Mechanic

NQF Level 4 with completion of a 4-year apprenticeship

Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Diploma/Degree plus at least 12 months shadowing a competent lift mechanic

NQF Level 5 certification with at least 12 months of supervised lift mechanic experience
Additional Skills & Competencies

Strong technical knowledge of elevator and escalator systems

Good verbal and written communication skills

Basic IT literacy and ability to use reporting systems or mobile apps

Excellent customer service orientation

Ability to manage time and tasks independently while ensuring full compliance with safety standards
