This is an exciting, hands-on opportunity to learn the traditional art of clock and watch repair—no prior experience required. Whether you’re fresh out of school or looking for a new direction, we’ll provide you with all the training you need to succeed in this specialized trade.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As our apprentice, you’ll work closely with experienced horologists to learn the intricacies of clock and watch servicing, restoration, and repair. Your role will be split between technical learning and providing excellent customer service in our workshop.
Technical Training & Repairs

Assist in cleaning, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of timepieces.

Learn the basics: battery replacements, watch strap adjustments, movement assembly, and routine maintenance.

Gain knowledge about mechanical and quartz movements, tools, and servicing techniques.
Customer Service

Greet customers in-store and respond to general inquiries.

Take detailed notes on customer repair needs and provide initial cost estimates.

Handle invoices, process payments, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Workshop & Inventory Support

Organize and maintain tools, parts, and supplies inventory.

Keep the workshop clean, safe, and well-ordered for daily operations.
Requirements:

Minimum qualification: Matric (Grade 12).

Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.

Friendly, punctual, and professional attitude when dealing with clients.

Basic communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
