Apprenticeship Opportunities for Unemployed Individuals (18–35) – Engineering Careers
Overview: If you’re passionate about pursuing a career in engineering, this is your opportunity! Necsa is offering a highly sought-after Apprenticeship Program for unemployed individuals aged 18–35. Successful applicants will receive accredited technical training, a monthly stipend, and accommodation during their training period. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various engineering trades and build a rewarding career.

Who Can Apply?
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Age: 18–35 years old

Residency: Applicants must reside in one of the following provinces:

Minimum Requirements for the Necsa Apprentice Program | Unemployed Youth
Applicants must have one of the following qualifications:
-
Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) with Mathematics and Science
-
N2–N6 with 4 relevant subjects (including trade theory)
-
Technical Matric with Maths, Science, and trade theory
-
NCV Level 3 or 4 Engineering Certificate with 7 relevant subjects
Additional Requirements:

Technical knowledge and the ability to work in a team environment

Must be medically fit, pass security clearance, and undergo qualification verification and assessments
