Now, we’re looking for a dedicated Field Technician to join our team, ensuring the safe, reliable, and smooth operationof elevators and escalators across your area.
Key Responsibilities

Liaise with customers to ensure satisfaction and address maintenance concerns.

Perform scheduled maintenance on elevators and escalators in accordance with planned service intervals.

Assist in timely repairs to prevent breakdowns, working alongside a qualified senior mechanic.

Respond to service callbacks and participate in a 24/7 standby rotation with a licensed technician.

Proactively promote “S” (Sales) and “T” (Technical) services, and execute “T” service work in the designated area.

Complete detailed maintenance reports, service documentation, and timesheets accurately and on time.

Ensure the safe-keeping and proper usage of company tools and equipment.
Qualifications & Requirements

N3 Electrical qualification or equivalent; OR currently studying toward an Electrical Diploma.

Must meet the requirements set by SABS 1545 accreditation.

Basic understanding of elevator and escalator mechanics and electrical systems.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including after-hours and weekends, on a standby rotation.
