About the Apprenticeship Programme
This comprehensive training program combines classroom learning and hands-on experience to ensure that apprentices gain both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise. Successful applicants will:
Attend daily technical training at a central facility in Gqeberha, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Participate in on-the-job training with a sponsoring employer for three months each year, gaining real-world industry exposure.
Learn the core principles of tool, die, and mold-making, as well as advanced machining techniques.
Develop problem-solving and precision engineering skills that are critical for success in the manufacturing sector.
Gain nationally recognized qualifications and certifications upon completion of the program.
Eligibility Requirements For The PISA TDM Powered Apprenticeship Programme
To qualify for this apprenticeship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualifications:
Grade 12 with Core Mathematics and Physical Science OR
N3/NC(V)4 (NQF Level 4) with compulsory subjects such as Mathematics and Physical/Engineering Science.
