Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily maintenance tasks efficiently and to a high standard.
Collaborate with the engineering department to support and complete various technical projects.
Conduct daily inspections of equipment and provide comprehensive feedback.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.
Assist artisans in overhauling, assembling, and maintaining mechanical equipment.
Adhere strictly to workplace safety rules and industry regulations.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Adapt to different teams and be flexible with role assignments as required.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric Certificate).
N2 Technical Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred).
Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
Excellent workload prioritization and time management abilities.
High safety awareness in an industrial environment.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime as needed.
Experience in welding and boiler making is highly advantageous.
Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Problem-solving abilities in maintenance and repair situations.
Physical stamina for manual labor and heavy lifting.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
