Apprenticeship Overview
This structured 3–4 year programme combines on-the-job learning with formally accredited thermography trainingup to PCN/ITC Category 2. Depending on your qualifications, you may also undertake an advanced modern apprenticeship, earning nationally recognised qualifications such as:

Level 2 Functional Skills in English, Maths, and ICT

NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Engineering

Technical Certificates including BTEC Electrical/Electronic Engineering, HNC/HND, or B.Eng (Hons)
Key Responsibilities For The Red Current 2025 Apprentice Program

Assist in conducting thermal imaging surveys for electrical, mechanical, and building systems

Participate in R&D to expand thermographic applications and service delivery

Maintain and calibrate thermal imaging camera equipment

Contribute to marketing via social media, email campaigns, and website updates

Support sales of surveys, thermal cameras, and hire services

Represent Red Current at trade shows, conferences, and client meetings

Promote and uphold company standards in Quality, Safety, and Innovation
