Key Responsibilities for the SA Youth Economy Apprentice Program
Assist in preparing structural drawings and 3D models for various projects.
Contribute to the development of design documentation, reports, and specifications.
Participate in project meetings and collaborate with the Architectural Design Team.
Support senior engineers in analyzing and solving structural challenges.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of Structural Engineering principles.
Diploma, degree, or relevant qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to adapt quickly and learn in a fast-paced environment.
Engineering-Related Trade Apprenticeship Minimum Requirements:

Welder
Aircraft Structural Worker
Electrician
Fitter and Turner
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 9 (minimum); Grade 10-12 is an added advantage.
N2-N6 qualification in a related trade is a plus.
South African citizenship (for aircraft-related trades).
Ages 18-35.
Must have passed Mathematics (60%) and Science and English (50%).
