Key Responsibilities for the Sandvik Artisan Learnership Program
As an Artisan Bridge Learner, you will:
Adhere to the conditions outlined in your employment agreement.
Follow all lawful instructions from supervisors and training personnel.
Perform assigned work diligently and professionally.
Maintain safety and compliance standards at all times.
Work towards achieving all required competencies in the training plan.
Participate in practical on-the-job training related to mining machine rebuilds and maintenance.
Complete training assessments as per the program guidelines.
Keep an updated training record and submit it when required.
Minimum Requirements – Who Can Apply?
To qualify for this program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics and Science or an equivalent qualification.
Minimum N2 Engineering Studies (compulsory).
Qualified Millwright (Electricians will also be considered).
Section 13 or Section 26D Trade Certificate (must include Proof of Apprenticeship, POE, and Proof of Modules).
Medically and physically fit to work in a mining environment.
Must meet all customer vaccination requirements (vaccination certificate must be attached to the application).
