Position Objective / Purpose
The purpose of this role is to manage and monitor Skills Development and B-BBEE compliance, with a specific focus on learnerships, vendor management, and contract administration. The ideal candidate will ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and SETA standards, contribute to transformation targets, and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and training providers.
Key Responsibilities
Skills Development & B-BBEE Monitoring

Monitor Skills Development spend and performance in line with B-BBEE targets

Conduct quarterly B-BBEE audits and ensure data accuracy for scorecard submissions

Ensure compliance with SETA requirements and manage learner registrations

Provide regular performance reports on service providers

Track and ensure effective delivery of non-technical learnership programmes
Vendor & Contract Management

Manage contracts with learnership service providers
-
Conduct monthly reviews to assess provider performance and compliance
-
Engage with vendors to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement
-
Support Supply Chain and Procurement in vendor onboarding and governance
Strategic & Operational Oversight

Develop and implement strategic goals and objectives for the Skills Development function

Assist in managing the overall learnership and development programmes

Drive monthly stakeholder engagement sessions
-
Ensure adherence to internal and external policies impacting training and skills programmes
Minimum Requirements For The Sasol Non Technical Learnerships
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields
-
Honours degree will be an added advantage
Experience
-
Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in:

B-BBEE Skills Development management
-
Contract and Vendor Management
-
Supply Chain or Procurement Compliance
-
Working with SETA-accredited training providers

Knowledge of B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice, specifically the Skills Development pillar
