Purpose of the Role
The primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate and support the end-to-end supply chain for packaging materials while learning key technical and operational functions. You will serve as a point of reference for colleagues and customers, ensuring personal contributions align with team performance and company goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Learn and demonstrate knowledge in the following areas:

Pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics, electromechanics, automation, instrumentation, and controls

Assist with inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs at customer sites

Learn to prepare technical service reports and assist with recording and forwarding customer complaints

Understand and apply machine operating best practices

Assist in verifying and ordering spare parts, with customer approval

Learn how to install, upgrade, or modify packaging lines when required

Support in ensuring timely documentation and internal communication related to customer orders and services
What You Bring:
Education:
-
N2 Qualification or Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
Experience:
-
Less than 1 year of experience in a technical or engineering-related field (advantageous but not essential)
Language Skills:

Fluent in English (written and verbal)

Additional local language proficiency is a plus
Technical Knowledge:

Familiarity with basic mechanical and electrical tools

Willingness to learn systems such as automation, instrumentation, and controls
