Key Responsibilities for the SKG Artisan Job Opportunities
1. Drafting & Design
Develop detailed drawings and blueprints for electrical, mechanical, and plumbing (MEP) systems based on engineer and architect specifications.
Ensure that all drawings are accurate, complete, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant tools) to create, modify, and update designs as required.
Review technical documents, blueprints, and schematics to verify feasibility and correctness of designs.
Assist in developing 3D models and technical illustrations for project visualization and presentation.
2. Collaboration & Coordination
Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure design modifications are accurately incorporated.
Assist in conducting site surveys and measurements to gather essential data for design accuracy.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to ensure correct implementation of designs.
Provide technical support during project meetings, addressing any design-related inquiries or challenges.
3. Compliance & Quality Control
Ensure that all drawings meet local building codes, safety standards, and engineering best practices.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and new technologies to enhance design processes.
Identify and implement best drafting practices to improve efficiency and accuracy in design documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Requirements
Diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing Engineering or a related technical field.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Draughtsman in the electrical, mechanical, or plumbing (MEP) industry.
Proven experience in MEP drafting, blueprint creation, and technical documentation.
Required Skills & Competencies
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other design tools.
Strong knowledge of industry standards, engineering codes, and safety regulations.
Excellent attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in drawings.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with engineers and architects.
