Main Purpose:
We are seeking a dedicated Electrician Assistant to support qualified electricians in maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical systems and related equipment. This role ensures all equipment is fully operational and compliant with manufacturer specifications, preventative maintenance procedures, and SANS electrical regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist electricians and artisans with electrical equipment maintenance, including cleaning, fault-finding, and repairs on welding machines.

Support the manufacturing and assembly of electrical gear, equipment, and components.

Help with electrical installations in modular buildings, site containers, and fixed structures.

Aid in the construction and maintenance of Distribution Boards (DB Boards).

Clean, inspect, and maintain portable electrical tools and power appliances.

Carry out additional duties related to electrical systems and support tasks as required.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics, Physical Science, and/or N3 Electrical Technical Qualification.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Electrician Assistant or in a similar role within the electrical or construction sector.
