Key Duties and Responsibilities For The Swift International Apprentice Program
As an apprentice, you will:

Assist qualified diesel mechanics in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and heavy-duty equipment.

Learn and develop skills through on-the-job training and mentorship.

Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good working order.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company health and safety policies.

Participate in training workshops, assessments, and development sessions as part of the structured apprenticeship programme.

Keep accurate records of work performed under supervision and progress throughout the programme.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Grade 12 (Matric) with a minimum of 50% in Pure Mathematics.

A valid driver’s license is essential.

N1 or N2 qualification with Engineering Science and Diesel Trade Theory will be considered a strong advantage.

A demonstrated willingness to work with your hands and perform manual labour in workshop environments.

Basic computer literacy is required.

A strong work ethic, reliability, and eagerness to learn.

This is a full-time apprenticeship programme.
