About the Technical Trainee Programme
Our Technical Trainee Programme is a structured 18-month development journey tailored for engineering graduates. This programme equips trainees with critical technical skills, real-world experience, and deep exposure to our operations, all while immersing them in our company’s culture and values.
Upon successful completion, graduates will be ready to step into technical leadership roles and take ownership of key operational areas.
Key Responsibilities:

Participate in a hands-on, self-study-based training programme with a focus on Brewery Utilities
-
Gain practical understanding of equipment, theory, principles, and operations within a brewery setting
-
Diagnose and troubleshoot systemic and situational problems in real-time operations
-
Apply VPO (Voyager Plant Optimization) principles in daily work
-
Support and participate in priority technical projects aligned with plant and programme goals
-
Serve in acting roles within Utilities team structures to gain leadership exposure

Effectively communicate learnings, insights, and problem-solving solutions across different business levels
Minimum Requirements:

South African citizen (preferred)

Must hold one of the following minimum qualifications:

BSc / BEng / BTech in Mechanical Engineering

BSc / BEng / BTech in Electrical Engineering

Strong academic performance

A genuine interest in utilities, production operations, and continuous improvement

Proactive, self-driven, and eager to learn in a high-paced environment
