Introduction
We are seeking dynamic and technically skilled Field Service Technicians to join our regional teams. This role includes attending to service calls, performing installations, conducting preventative maintenance, delivering labels, and collecting cheques in your assigned branch area. The successful candidate will ensure full compliance with the SABS and NRCS Quality Systems on a daily basis.
Key Duties & Responsibilities For The Teraoka SA Apprentice Program

Respond to service calls and conduct equipment repairs and troubleshooting as logged on the internal system

Perform scale verification and sealing as an appointed Verification Officer, following NRCS/SABS protocols

Order required parts and spares via the Service Manager and complete repairs

Install software and equipment at new customer sites and ensure proper functioning

Perform six-monthly preventative maintenance on service-contracted scales

Maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with key corporate clients
-
Promote and sell labels and weighing equipment where possible
-
Ensure proper use and maintenance of standard TSA-issued equipment

Provide detailed feedback and report completed calls to both the Branch and the Helpdesk

Uphold company and regulatory quality standards and customer satisfaction
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science
OR
N3 Certificate with Mathematics and Physical Science -
Age: 18–28

Driver’s License and Own Vehicle – This is a non-negotiable requirement

Prior technical experience in electronics, mechanical systems, or scale servicing is advantageous
