We are currently looking for a proactive and reliable individual to join our technical team as an Electrical Maintenance Assistant. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on mechanical and electrical experience who is eager to build a long-term career in the maintenance field.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Electrician or Technician with daily maintenance tasks and other assigned duties.

Conduct basic electrical and mechanical tasks under supervision, including:

Use of power tools (grinders, drills, test meters)
-
Minor welding tasks
-

Clean and maintain cables and electrical components during scheduled maintenance.

Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
-
Deliver high-quality work with attention to detail and neatness.

Participate in training and development programs with a view to achieving a formal qualification.
Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 / NQF Level 4

Strong foundational knowledge and hands-on experience in both mechanical and electrical work

Troubleshooting abilities are essential

A valid trade certificate will be an added advantage

Willingness to undergo further training
