Job Objectives and Responsibilities
As an Auto Electrician, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on Volvo commercial vehicles and other fleet products. Your technical knowledge and hands-on experience will contribute to the performance, safety, and reliability of our vehicles.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Fault tracing and diagnosis on Volvo trucks and related commercial vehicles.

Interpreting symptoms of underperformance or component failure using technical experience and tools.

Applying knowledge from Volvo Workshop Manuals, specifications, and service directives.

Performing electrical repairs and maintenance tasks to OEM standards.

Ensuring that all work is completed accurately and in accordance with health and safety standards.

Using diagnostic tools and measuring equipment for problem-solving and quality control.
Qualifications & Experience Required
-
Matric / N3 Certificate (minimum requirement).

Qualified Auto Electrician with trade certification.
-
Completion of health and safety training courses.
-
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in maintenance and repairs of commercial vehicles.

Volvo vehicle experience is a strong advantage.
-
Valid PRDP driver’s license.

Computer literacy for diagnostics and reporting.
