Are you a technically-minded young person with a passion for hands-on work? Vuselela TVET College is calling on all qualifying candidates to express their interest in our 2025 Apprenticeship Training Programme. This opportunity is aimed at unemployed South African youth who have studied with Vuselela TVET College and wish to gain practical workplace experience and national trade qualifications.
The programme will focus on the following Occupational Certificates / Trades in high-demand sectors:

Boilermaker

Bricklayer
-
Carpenter
-
Electrician
-
Fitter & Turner
-
Mechanical Fitter
-
Millwright
-
Solar Photovoltaic Technician
-
Welder
Minimum Academic Requirements for the Vuselela TVET College 2025 Apprentice Programme
Applicants must meet one of the following:
-
N2 – N6 subjects, including relevant trade theory
-
Technical Matric (Grade 12) with Technical Maths/Mathematics, Science, and trade-related subjects
-
NC(V) Level 3 or 4 Certificate in a relevant engineering or technical field
Additional Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for consideration, candidates must:

Have relevant technical and practical knowledge
-
Be team-oriented and able to follow instructions
-
Be unemployed and under the age of 35
-
Be a South African citizen, not currently registered in any learnership, skills programme, or with any other training provider
-
Successfully complete all screening protocols, which include:

Medical fitness assessment
-
Security clearance
-
Qualification verification
-
Technical and physical assessments
-
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend interviews as part of the selection process.
