Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Technician with extensive experience in diagnostics, fault-finding, and electrical systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with ECUs, starters, alternators, and all electrical components in motor vehicles.
Key Responsibilities For The WeBuyCars Auto Electrician Job Opportunity
Perform service, repair, and maintenance on customer vehicles
Conduct mechanical diagnostics and electronic diagnostics
Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Diagnose faults and repair electrical systems, ECUs, and wiring in motor vehicles
Program and code keys and ECUs for vehicles
Order and source parts as needed
Ensure repairs meet professional standards and perform all work with attention to detail
Job Requirements:
Presentable appearance with sober habits
Excellent timekeeping and reliability
No criminal record
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure
Ability to train co-workers and work as part of a team
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
Understanding of electrical DBs and wiring systems
Hands-on experience with diagnostics equipment and ECUs
Computer literate with a strong technical background
Extensive knowledge of reconning starters, alternators, and all electrical components
Proficient in ECU programming, key coding, and ECU diagnostics
Qualifications & Experience:
Trade Test Motor Mechanic (Red Seal)
5-7 years of experience in automotive diagnostics and fault finding
Valid driver’s license is required
