Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Junior Technician to join our dynamic team in the UHT (Ultra-High Temperature) and ESL (Extended Shelf Life) Filling and Downstream department. This role is crucial to ensuring the seamless operation of our production line and packaging equipment. As a Junior Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with preventative and corrective maintenance, focusing on minimizing downtime, improving operational efficiency, and supporting continuous production flow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities For The Woodlands Dairy Junior Electrician

  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on UHT/ESL filling and downstream machinery

  • Support the execution of preventative maintenance plans to optimize equipment performance

  • Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults on production line equipment

  • Work under the guidance of senior technicians to ensure machinery is operating safely and efficiently

  • Conduct inspections, monitor machine performance, and assist with calibrations where required

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to health, safety, and food safety protocols

  • Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities and report deviations to the maintenance supervisor

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and technical training sessions as needed


Qualifications and Skills

  • Qualified Millwright or Electrician (essential)

  • Preferably 1–2 years of experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment

  • Experience with Tetra Pak equipment is a significant advantage

  • Knowledge of packaging and distribution equipment maintenance

  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills

  • Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team

  • Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays when necessary
