Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Junior Technician to join our dynamic team in the UHT (Ultra-High Temperature) and ESL (Extended Shelf Life) Filling and Downstream department. This role is crucial to ensuring the seamless operation of our production line and packaging equipment. As a Junior Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with preventative and corrective maintenance, focusing on minimizing downtime, improving operational efficiency, and supporting continuous production flow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities For The Woodlands Dairy Junior Electrician

Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on UHT/ESL filling and downstream machinery

Support the execution of preventative maintenance plans to optimize equipment performance

Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults on production line equipment

Work under the guidance of senior technicians to ensure machinery is operating safely and efficiently

Conduct inspections, monitor machine performance, and assist with calibrations where required

Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to health, safety, and food safety protocols

Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities and report deviations to the maintenance supervisor

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and technical training sessions as needed
Qualifications and Skills

Qualified Millwright or Electrician (essential)

Preferably 1–2 years of experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment

Experience with Tetra Pak equipment is a significant advantage

Knowledge of packaging and distribution equipment maintenance

Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills

Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems

Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team

Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays when necessary
