We are looking for a highly skilled Maintenance Technician with expertise in dairy equipment maintenance, mechanical and electrical fault-finding, and repair. The ideal candidate should have experience working in an automated food or beverage manufacturing environment, ensuring equipment operates at optimal efficiency while adhering to safety and maintenance standards.
This role requires the ability to perform scheduled and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot technical faults, and repair dairy processing equipment to meet specified performance standards. Candidates must be willing to work overtime, standby duties, and shifts as required.
Key Responsibilities for the Woodlands Dairy Maintenance Artisan
Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on dairy equipment to ensure efficient and uninterrupted production.
Conduct mechanical and electrical fault-finding and repairs on various processing machinery.
Optimize the performance of plant and process equipment to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
Utilize maintenance systems (Pragma) to document and manage maintenance activities effectively.
Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and company procedures in all maintenance operations.
Assist in the development and training of team members to enhance skills and knowledge in equipment maintenance.
Work collaboratively with the production team to minimize equipment breakdowns and improve overall plant efficiency.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Qualified Millwright or Electrician (other relevant technical qualifications will also be considered).
Minimum 3 years of experience in an automated food or beverage manufacturing environment (dairy industry experience is a plus).
Previous knowledge and hands-on experience with evaporators, spray dryers, cheese, butter, and other food processing equipment will be highly advantageous.
Strong technical skills in both mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis and repair.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Willingness to work overtime, shifts, and standby duties when necessary.
