Are you passionate about retail, customer service, and building a long-term career in the wholesale and retail industry? We’re excited to offer 12-month learnership opportunities in the Retail Sector, available in all 9 provinces of South Africa. These learnerships are ideal for individuals who are eager to gain practical experience and develop essential skills in a dynamic retail environment.

What You Will Gain:

Successful candidates will receive hands-on training and theoretical knowledge across multiple key areas in wholesale and retail. The programme is designed to equip learners with the skills and work experience necessary to excel in retail and customer service roles.

Key Learning Areas Include:

• Delivering excellent customer service on the shop floor

• Understanding the wholesale and retail environment

• Assisting with marketing, merchandising, and maintaining attractive product displays

• Developing skills in English language fundamentals and basic numeracy (Maths fundamentals)

• Recording transactions and processing payments on POS systems

• Opening new customer accounts and assisting with account queries

• Monitoring and helping reduce stock loss and shrinkage

Minimum Requirements For The W&R SETA All Provinces Learnership Programme

To qualify for the learnership, applicants must:

• Have a Senior Certificate (Matric or equivalent qualification)

• Be a South African citizen with no criminal record

• Candidates with or without disabilities are encouraged to apply
