The Wholesale and Retail Sector Education and Training Authority (W&RSETA), in collaboration with the Forek Institute of Technology, invites all South African citizens between the ages of 18 and 35 years to apply for the W&RSETA-funded Apprenticeship Programme for the Occupational Certificate: Plumber. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and valuable skills in the plumbing trade while earning an official qualification.

About the Programme:

This apprenticeship is designed to provide learners with the opportunity to complete the Occupational Certificate: Plumber, a qualification registered under SAQA ID 91782. A total of 27 apprentices will be selected for this programme, which will equip them with the necessary skills to become qualified plumbers in South Africa.

Application Requirements 

To apply for the W&RSETA Apprenticeship Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Age Requirement: Must be between 18 and 35 years of age.

  • Educational Qualifications:

    • Must have successfully passed Grade 12 Maths/Literacy.

    • Must have N2 Engineering Studies OR NCV Level 3 in a related trade qualification. Preference will be given to candidates who possess trade-related qualifications.

  • Residency: Applicants must reside in the Mpumalanga Province.

    • Proof of Residence must be attached to the application.

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV): A comprehensive CV outlining your qualifications, skills, and experience must be submitted.

  • This apprenticeship opportunity is strictly for people residing in Mpumalanga Province.
