What You’ll Do in the YES Programme

Successful candidates will be placed in various YES roles across all Nedbank divisions nationwide. Your responsibilities will depend on the department where you are assigned.

 

Potential Placement Areas

Administration, Operations & Facilities – Perform administrative tasks to support business operations, ensuring compliance with Nedbank’s policies and procedures.

Finance – Analyze and present financial data to drive strategy and decision-making.

Human Resources – Provide administrative support to the HR team and assist in delivering key HR services.

Information Technology (IT) – Deliver technical services and operational support to maintain a highly reliable IT environment.

Investment Banking – Assist in implementing and maintaining financial deals in line with legal agreements and internal processes.

Project & Process Management – Support project teams with reporting, logistics, and compliance tasks.

Sales & Client Service – Enhance client experiences in branch environments through digital banking, sales, and service.

Collections – Manage overdue accounts by addressing defaults on monthly payments, reducing financial risk.

These roles may involve responsibilities as a coordinator, administrator, analyst, assistant, officer, or other specialized positions under supervision.

Minimum Requirements for Youth Employment Service Post matric multi-skilled roles

To qualify for the YES Programme at Nedbank, you must:

 

Have a Matric (Grade 12 National Senior Certificate). An NQF Level 5 in business, finance, or a related field is an advantage but not required.

Be 18 to 29 years old (born between June 1995 and January 2007).

Be currently unemployed.

Have not participated in a YES Programme with another company.

Be a South African-born African, Coloured, or Indian citizen (as per the B-BBEE Act, 53 of 2003) with a valid South African ID.
