Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Service Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves preventive maintenance, in-house servicing, logistics support, and field service assistance for ZOLL Medical products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards while providing top-notch technical support.
Key Responsibilities for Zoll Medical Technical Learnership
As a Technical Service Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Preventive Maintenance & Repairs
Planning, executing, and documenting preventive maintenance within the assigned time frame under the guidance of the Technical Manager.
Supporting the Save-a-Life (SAL) initiative by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) through regular maintenance of critical medical equipment.
Conducting in-house servicing and repairs for customers in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region.
Field Service & Customer Support
Assisting the Field Service team with service calls, troubleshooting, and commissioning of ZOLL Medical products.
Providing technical support to customers and ensuring smooth operation of life-saving devices.
Diagnosing and resolving basic field issues, while escalating complex cases to ZOLL Medical supervisors.
Logistics & Compliance
Supporting the Logistics Department in managing and controlling the flow of products and services.
Ensuring proper handling and accurate documentation in compliance with GDPMDS (Good Distribution Practice for Medical Devices in Singapore) requirements.
Creating detailed service reports and maintaining up-to-date records.
Additional Duties
Learning the functions and processes of the Technical Service Team to understand workplace process flows.
Performing ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the management.
Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have:
Basic knowledge of hand tool operations for maintenance and repairs.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively without missing deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and reporting.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and customers.
Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance and support.
