PDC is currently recruiting apprentices in the following trades:

• 1 × Electrician Apprentice

The PDC Engineering Apprenticeship Programme combines theoretical trade learning with practical workplace training. Successful candidates will work under the supervision of qualified artisans and experienced technical professionals while completing structured apprenticeship modules.

Minimum Requirements For PDC Engineering Apprenticeship Programme 2026 Opens Opportunities for Unemployed Youth

To qualify for the PDC Engineering Apprenticeship Programme 2026, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12
• Passes in Mathematics and Physical Science
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Trade theory subjects in the relevant trade at N2 level or higher

Applicants who demonstrate strong technical understanding, discipline, and willingness to learn will have an advantage during the selection process.

Internal candidates may also transition from their current grade into a first-year apprentice contract.
