About the PathCare Technical Learnership Programme 2026

Successful learners will attend theoretical classes at one of the PathCare Academy campuses, while practical training will take place at PathCare laboratories and depots across South Africa.
Learners will be allocated to training locations based on seat availability.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- Life Sciences/Biology:Â 50% or higher
OR
- Human and Biological Sciences (HBM):Â 60% or higher
AND
- Mathematics:Â 40% or higher
OR
- Mathematical Literacy:Â 60% or higher
Applicants who do not meet these academic requirements will not be considered.
Additional Requirements

- Read, write and speak English fluently
- Read, write and understand basic Afrikaans
