Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Relocation Driver to join our Cold Drink Equipment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for relocating, delivering, and collecting cooling equipment, ensuring all items are handled safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards and exceptional customer service.

This role is critical to the successful operation of our logistics and distribution network, ensuring that equipment is delivered and positioned according to company merchandising standards, while representing the CCBSA brand professionally at all times.

Key Responsibilities For Relocation Driver – Cooling Equipment Distribution

Delivery & Equipment Management

• Deliver, relocate, and install cooling equipment according to planned schedules
• Ensure equipment is handled carefully to prevent damage
• Track, manage, and safely transport returns and collected equipment
• Maintain equipment logs and complete required documentation accurately

Vehicle Responsibility & Maintenance

• Take full responsibility for the assigned company vehicle, ensuring it is clean, roadworthy, and fuelled
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues immediately
• Ensure all loads are securely loaded and safely transported

Customer Relations & Service

• Maintain positive relationships with customers while delivering equipment
• Ensure customers receive the best possible service and address queries professionally
• Represent CCBSA in a professional and courteous manner at all times

Merchandising & Brand Standards

• Position cooling equipment according to company merchandising guidelines
• Maintain high standards to ensure equipment presentation enhances the customer experience
• Support promotional activities and merchandising strategies when required

Supervision & Team Support

• Assist and supervise junior team members during deliveries
• Promote teamwork and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely
• Support operational efficiency by anticipating and addressing challenges proactively

Documentation & Administrative Duties

• Complete all delivery and relocation paperwork accurately
• Maintain proper records of equipment, vehicle logs, and returns
• Ensure compliance with company standards for documentation and reporting

Safety & Compliance

• Adhere strictly to road safety laws and company driving policies
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure personal and team safety
• Promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance within the team

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
• Driving License: Valid Code 10 license; Code 14 license is an advantage
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ relevant driving and delivery experience
• Previous experience in logistics, equipment handling, or CDE operations is preferred
